Happy New Cycle..New Year…New Time
We wanted to first take the time to thank everyone for the continued support of our center and being a part of our now seven year journey.
Our Wellness Center and Small Urban Regenerative Farm Food Forest is now just starting to turn the corner in realizing our vision relative to supporting the community. We are really looking forward to what’s next. Below are just a few of our accomplishments from 2021:
We were finally able to construct our Greenhouse which was a major effort as well as investment for our center and we were blessed to have the support of a number of helping hands within the community to support the project.
We also obtained our first beehives and are now officially beekeepers with the desire to add additional hives in 2022.
We held our third Permaculture Design Certification program supported by some outstanding community collaborators as well as participants
We held our 6th Annual Holistic Festival for the Community supported by various sustainable practitioners and producers as well as performers. It was truly a beautiful time.
We offered many Holistic classes including Meditation; Yoga; Tai Chi; Shamanic Circles; Drumming; Sound Healing and other various donation based, accessible offerings to the community
We formed multiple relationships with many collaborating partners within the community in an effort to offer expanded services to the community. You will find many of them listed on our website.
We partnered and participated with various other organizations such as: The Delaware Urban Farm and Food Coalition, The Challenge Program: Urban Acres Produce and Bellevue Farms just to name a few
We formulated a new operational team to provide more bandwidth to the center with the hopes of being able to offer expanded services to the community
For 2022 just some of the things we have planned :
We will be opening our small farm market and nursery with produce, plants and goods grown from seed and produced from our homestead. We also will have offerings from other community partners as well.
We are developing an active volunteer pool and community engagement program as well as projects to contribute to the Homestead. Hoping to take on some of these projects in 2022: ChickenHouse Build: Shelving and Supplies for the Greenhouse; Outdoor/Cob Oven Build,
We will be collaborating and developing some other programs for various organizations
We will be developing online education programs to offer benefit to those not in the immediate area
We will be offering our fourth Permaculture Design Certification Program during the summer along with some additional classes
We will be reopening our Healing Certification programs in Reiki; Quantum Healing; Shamanism.
We will be developing offerings through our You Tube and Patreon Channel
We are currently exploring the idea of setting up a not for profit for our Urban Regenerative Farm
Currently an LLC, our goal is to continue to be sustainable while at the same time continue to offer accessible services to those in the community during this time of great change.
