2020 to 2022.. Started with one hive now we have five which are stacked. Lost one hive to beetles this year but the existing hives are very strong.
Learned quite a bit from my friend Tom Lunt over the past few years as well as others which I am grateful . I have experienced just about every challenge one can imagine in this journey with them. The hives are strong and now it’s fully time for the training wheels to fully come off and we will be offering some of our honey for the first time next year Infused with medicinal herbs and plants grown on our homestead. Quite excited. It will be interesting to see what it taste like…
We will also be adding more hives next year as well…and possibly locating some at other sites.
In the beginning I said I would not expand but as in all things..I have realized I am not the boss of it….in this case the bees are………
