PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:

Dr. Brown’s background consists of a unique and diverse combination of experiences in the areas of Academia, Supply Chain Management, Technology and Finance; coupled with   rich entrepreneurial experience in Consulting, Health and Wellness, Education. Training and Sustainability and Community Advocacy.  She has worked across multiple industries inclusive of Financial Services and Banking, Healthcare and Wellness, Technology, Manufacturing, Higher Education and Government; and considers herself a servant of people, no matter the role in which she is engaged.  At the forefront of her focus is the contribution of service to others: the quality of services offered and improvements to bettering. Dr. Brown has held executive and senior management roles at various companies including Cigna Healthcare, Bank of America (MBNA America), Amtrak, Meridian Bancorp, Reichhold Chemical Corp, PNC National Bank, Primerica Bank and E.F. Hutton and has supported many organizations through her consulting work such as:  The State of Delaware Division of Technology; The State of Delaware Department of Health and Safety Services’ American Water, The City of Baltimore; Pennsylvania Veterans Home Association, The City of Philadelphia; GEP Worldwide; The State of Maryland; Philadelphia Gas Works; Harper College ; WSSC Water Company, BWI/Unison to name a few. She has also worked and supported various Community Boards over her professional tenure; providing strategic and financial planning; community engagement and program/project management, as well as serves as an adjunct professor in Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral level programs in local colleges and universities.

Dr Brown holds both a Doctor of Education in Education Innovation and Leadership, and a Master of Business Administration from Wilmington University.  Her Doctoral work was specifically in the area of Job Satisfaction and Work Motivation as it relates to Technology Professionals.  She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Computer Information Systems from Goldey Beacom College.  She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Sustainability Education from Prescott College which is currently her primary areas of interest.
