Little bit of night gardening and maintenance. Cleaned up the area in front of the hives while the bees are resting and tired from working all day. You can hear them fanning to keep the hive cool and the sweet scent permeating from the hive. I also removed the Fig tree which was in front of the hive and spread some wood chips. Still need to put some more down. Added another box to our largest hive to give them more room.
Gave the plants in the greenhouse a good watering. Things look happy.
Planted tomatoes and peppers in the large hugelkulter bed and brought some of the tumeric and ginger plants from the greenhouse and planted these as well.
I had some company in the nightsky and Kia just fell asleep on her blanket..very relaxed…time for rest..
