Dear Community, A Call for Support
As many of you are aware I have and am taking some time off to slow down, reflect and heal. This past year has truly been a blessing with all of the extraordinary things we have been able to do here at the center while other aspects of my life have been blossoming at the same time. Often as is the case here when all of your passions are merging and fully integrating at the same time we sometimes loose sight of the most important aspect in that overall conversation which is the care of ourselves. I was quite fortunate to have the Universe provide me with a very uncomfortable reminder of this more recently which is why I have temporarily closed the center; to gleen from what is being offered to me as we move into this new and beautiful cycle in 2023.
We have over the past several years strived to be a healing resource for the community providing accessible education, healing services, a place to gather collaborate and build community. This will continue; but we must look at how we are offering as well as our associated band width as the center has grown tremendously. Having said that our space has primarily been being managed by two individuals myself and Gaby Fernandes as well as some supporting volunteers along the way. Many of you have reached out asking how you can help support the center; well now is your opportunity if you wish us to continue offering the level of service we have historically offered in the past. We wish to continue with our shared collaborative community model; but it will demand a level of consistency, dependability and reliability in our volunteer pool. I cannot and we cannot do this on our own. My more recent event has shown me that my big spirit is no match for my human suit which demands a little more TLC. The space is now prime for us to do all of the things we intended; but we now need community hands to support. Next year we plan to hold the events noted below and we will need ongoing support in the forest garden. In addition, this coming season will lend itself to the first season where we will be able to have a full nursery. We have decided to hold the PDC every other year as well as our community festival every other year as the planning and effort associated with both are significant. Our next festival will be held in 2023 and our next PDC will be held 2024. Planning for both efforts are now underway and being managed by Gaby Fernandez. In addition, we will be reopening the healing practice here at IWC in collaboration with Jamar Pettis of Blessed Ascensions, who will take the lead on our healing services offerings. So, stay tuned for what will be developing this way. My goal is to continue to allow IWC to be a place where people can grow spiritually, get in touch with their gifts; heal and share with the world to aid in healing our planet as we move throughout Ascension times. We are all in this together; this is not a monetary thing for me….it never was…but purposeful…passionate work to contribute to the building of our new earth which will be beautiful. Something in which no value can ever be assumed.
So if you would like to support in anyway in the coming year in assisting us in building community; we need you. Feel free to reach out to us at innersourcewellnesscenter@gmail.com. We will also be sending out a call for volunteers in our next newsletter; but below are some of the areas in which we will need support.
