Inspirational Poetry Discussion Group and Potluck – facilitated by Justin Casteel,

Deborah Gottselig and Melvina Brown. The purpose of this Discussion Group will be an

opportunity to explore, share and examine poetry from an inspirational perspective.

Included will be the sharing of individual and original pieces…see more under services.

Chakra Focused Yoga Workshop – facilitated by Kelly Wong

Explore poses that correspond to the seven chakras, or energy centers, in the body,

which can become imbalanced or blocked by stress, pain, tension, low self-esteem,

situational challenges, or past experiences

Date: September 6th, 11:00am to 12:30pm, Cost $35

 

Sound Painting facilitated by Steve Canapp – tap into your inner artist through sound

vibration.

Date: Every Monday Beginning September 8th, 6:00pm to 7:00pm, Cost $20 per

 

Introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong – facilitated by Justin Casteel. This workshop will

introduce you to the related arts of Tai Chi and Qigong. Tai Chi is the internal art of

balance, a series of flowing forms connected by breath and movement into a

meditative routine. Qigong is “energy work” – getting in touch with your internal

energy, getting rid of bad energy, and cleansing the meridians of blockages.

Date: September 10th, 7:00pm to 8:00pm, Cost $20

 

Movie with a Smoothie – Come join us at IWC for our Movie and Smoothie night the

first Friday of Every month. We will show a movie TBA with a theme that speaks to

who we are; our spiritual essence and our connection to each other

Date: Third Friday of Every Month Beginning September 12th, Cost $10

 

Mindfulness Parenting Workshop – facilitated by Melissa Layfield,

Release frustration and embrace cooperation. This class teaches strategies to parents

to positively influence their child’s behavior.

Date: September 13th, 3:00pm to 5:00pm, Cost $35

 

Everyday Mindfulness Wellness Class – facilitated by Melissa Layfield. This

introductory class will define “mindfulness” and explain how it is used as an approach

to everyday life.

Date: September 15th, 6:00pm to 7:00pm, Cost $20

 

Drum Circle – Facilitated by IWC….all Welcome!

Date: September 19th, 7:00pm to 9:00pm.. Love Donation (Feel free to bring something

Mindfulness for Kids Class –  facilitated by Melissa Layfield, Children can learn to still

their mind and process their thoughts. This one hour class is tailored to teach children

ages 4 to 10 or 11 to 16 about breathing, mediation, and journaling
